In 1958, Latifie met her future husband Jim. After a courtship that covered several years, Latifie and Jim were married in August of 1964. In October of 1966, their son Donald was born and Latifie dedicated her life to becoming a loving and caring mother to Donald.
The family enjoyed numerous vacations to BC, Saskatchewan, and the USA. Although Latifie was not a big fan of travelling, in later years the family has many fond memories of family vacations.
Latifie loved sending and receiving specials occasion greeting cards to and from family members, (especially nieces and nephews) and friends. It was a life long hobby of hers which she truly loved. If you were fortunate enough to be on her card list you could count on receiving cards from her. She had an extensive list which she faithfully kept up until recent years which she had to reduce when her health began to fail.
In Loving Memory of Latifie
Beautiful Sister I think of you every minute of the day.I think back to when we were younger all the fun times we had shopping, buying lots of red liquorice it was our favourite.
We spent many hours together, you are still the most beautiful caring and kindest person I have ever known and always will be. It was so hard to say goodbye.
Now you are at peace,in a beautiful place, one day we will meet again.
Don and Jim thank you for all you have taken care of in the past months, for Latifie my best friend and sister bless you.
