Maria Luminosa “Iloh” Anievas, age 57, loving mother of 3, and adoring wife to husband, Efren “Kape” Anievas, passed away 2:35 in the morning of Sunday, March 6, 2022. Maria was born April 20, 1964 in Morong, Rizal, Philippines and grew up surrounded by her large family. She had 10 other siblings – Maria being the youngest of them all. She was a very loving, caring, generous, funmaker, jolly person and she incorporated that into her motherhood. In 1986 she graduated from Centro Escolar University in Metro Manila earning a degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine.
Maria met her husband, Efren, when she was 20. They dated for 4 years and decided to start a family of their own. They were blessed with 3 wonderful children – Kharizza, John, and Kathleen. Maria then got a job offer from Canada as a caregiver, took the risk of being alone and far away from her loved ones to give them a better future. After 4 years of hard work, she was able to migrate her whole family to Canada.
In her spare time, Maria loved to go shopping, camping, travelling and singing with her family. There was never a dull moment when you’re with her, she’s always been the “life of the party”. Those special memories of her will always be missed by her siblings, relatives, co-workers, friends, especially by her husband, Efren, and her children, Kharizza, John and Kathleen.
There are no goodbyes. Wherever you’ll be, you’ll be in our hearts and in our thoughts forever, we’ll always remember the things you have taught us and how much you loved us. To a wonderful woman and a beautiful mother. We love you!
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, March 10, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Annunciation Catholic Parish, 9420-163 Street.
Our sincerest condolences for you and family. You have our deepest sympathy and unwavering support. Wishing you peace, comfort, courage, and lots of love at this time of sorrow. Our heart goes out to you at this difficult time. God bless.
