On June 20, 2023, Sonia Dora Dumais passed away at the age of 51 years.

Sonia was the mother of three children: Blue Dumais, Issac Dumais (predeceased) and Rayne Dumais.

She survived by two brothers: Jordan Dumais and Rocky Dumais; her sisters: Liz Larocke, Janet Blyan, Margaret Dumais, Eileen Dumais, Elaine Dumais, Star Dumais, Rose Dumais, April Dumais and two grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Sonia was predeceased by: her mother Evelyn Dumais, and her grandparents Sam and Dora Dumais, four brothers: Richard Dumais, Russell Dumais, Robert Dumais and Tuck Dumais, and her sisters Phyllis Blyan and Stephanie Dumais, her niece Nina Dumais and nephew Dustin Dumais

She will be remembered for her laugh, her cooking, her crazy ways and her nickname Nanass.
