Dorothy James 1941-2023
On August 29, 2023 Dorothy James passed away at the age of 82.
Dorothy was born on March 12, 1941 in Tacarigua, Trinidad and Tobago to parents Clement James and Mary Norvelle.
Dorothy completed her primary and secondary levels of education in Trinidad. Dorothy had two children Joannie and Shawn. With dreams of becoming a nurse Dorothy moved to Montreal Quebec Canada in 1969. Once she completed her training Dorothy worked as a nurse in Montreal. Dorothy had her last child Claudja. She continued nursing for 30 years in Edmonton Alberta and Ottawa Ontario.
After retirement Dorothy returned back to Edmonton to be close to her family.
Dorothy will be remembered by:
Children – Joanne aka Joannie James, Shawn (Dawn) James and Claudja Cyrus.
Grandchildren -Rodney Tiffany Jarvis Desirae Gabrielle Jachota and Jada
Great grandchildren -Denzel
Siblings – Arnold aka Knolly James
Nieces – Carolyn (Randy) Handley and Gillian (Andrew) Sherwood, Debbie and Nicole James
Dorothy will be reunited in heaven with:
Parents- Clement and Mary James
Siblings – Samuel James, Pearl Flemming-James
Nephew – Marlon Flemming
Niece – Janice AnnMary Flemming
