Lynne Gloria KELLY (nee BEIERLE)

With deep sadness we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved sister Lynne Kelly (Beierle) on July 15, 2023, at the age of 71.

Lynne will be lovingly remembered by her surviving siblings: sisters Sharron Cummings (Robert), Darcy Beierle, brother Lindsay Beierle (Joanne), nieces Jeanne, Tara, nephews Brett and Casey, not to mention numerous other family and friends. She was predeceased by her Father Allan Beierle, Mother Pauline Ruzycki and stepfather William Ruzycki.

Lynne was born in Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan on July 27, 1951. She attended school in Hodgeville, Saskatchewan until moving to Calgary, AB in 1960 with the family. She graduated from Queen Elizabeth High School in 1969. Lynne married Bill Kelly but later they divorced. Lynne was employed at a few different companies as a bookkeeper including Molsons Brewery (Calgary/Mississauga) and the Federal Government. Deciding to try something else, she started Kelroc Sportswear and was very successful until she retired.

From an early age, Lynne loved softball and later Curling. She played with a women’s Softball League and Curling teams in Calgary, Mississauga, and Edmonton throughout her life and until she physically could no longer play due to her age.

In her later years she loved to garden and was very talented artistically with making Christmas ornaments. She would create beautiful Christmas Trees and Sleds.

Lynne will be greatly missed by all her family and numerous friends.

At a much later date, the family will gather either in Calgary or BC and celebrate Lynne’s life.
