Dianne and family: We grieve and celebrate with you! I will never forget the times of fellowship in your home and co-laboring with Barry on the Taylor board. So many fond memories of a kind, generous and humorous man! A man after God’s own heart. The entire Sardachuk family prays with and for you as you navigate this temporary loss but looking forward with you to a celebration of reuniting with Jesus! Grace and peace to you!

    Dear Dianne.
Thank you so very much for having Barry’s Celebration of Life online. I feel humbled and privileged to have joined your family today at Barry’s celebration. The tributes today were simply amazing. What a great man Barry is! Trevor & Brad couldn’t have said it better. Barry was and always will be a one of a kind Father and Mentor.
I have always known Barry to be a kind, giving, outgoing, generous and FUN man. He always had such a huge positive presence at gatherings. I looked forward to coming to your home and having Barry greet me at the door with a BIG hug and “Well hello Darling” Pat & I have always enjoyed the friendship of you and Barry. Our friendship will live on through memories and many many more stories we will share over the years ahead. Pat will be so glad that he was with you and your family today to celebrate Barry. I hope he will bring home a bag of Hawkins cheezies for me. When we return from San Diego we will call and hopefully we can find time to share a coffee or glass of wine.
Dianne you have a beautiful family. Your son was right in saying that Barry treasured you as his wife and BEST friend.
    Love and Hugs

Such a beautiful service today commemorating Barry’s life – so many tributes shared by friends and family, and reflected how much his life impacted so many others. It was a pleasure to have worked with both him and you, Diane, especially on the landscaping at the church, and also our get togethers after our piano recitals. Barry was such a friendly, kind-hearted person, and always had a big smile and welcome hug. Our hearts grieve with you during this difficult time. Don and Lorna Howell

We were so sorry to hear of Barry’s passing. We did not attend the service due to Covid concerns but are very thankful that you streamed his Celebration of Life. It was so good to see and hear some of our University group remember the good old times and activities with Barry, and to share in the memories of others on his many varied activities and interests. Barry was always a leader, an organizer, and an avid participant in our class, in baseball, in going to football games, in his work and with his family and friends while all the while enjoying everyone and everything. We extend our condolences to all of you and are thankful that we all have such good memories to keep with us.

Diane and Family: I want to express my condolences to all of you. I watched Barry’s Celebration of Life online. It was very moving and brought back lots of memories. I have many fond memories of Barry, starting in High School, as his roommate in first year at the U of A, and especially the great times we had at Lake Pend Oreille.

I thank you for the story of Barry’s journey through life with us online. I was shocked to hear about Barry’s passing from my engineering friends. Barry was always known for his infectious enthusiasm and zest for life. I cannot recall seeing him without a broad smile on his face. His presence will be sorely missed at our engineering reunions and we will be sure to toast him and share a memory about Barry at our 50th reunion. And who knew that Barry shared my passion for Hawkins cheesies before yesterday!!

Dianne, I had the privilege of meeting Barry only once, August 2019 when Richard (Milroy) and I joined you and Barry at Lake Pend Oreille.
From that visit, and from the many stories Richard has shared with me about Kozzy, I feel like I knew him and his character quite well.
Barry was smart, talented, and friendly. His love of his family and friends and his faith in God were paramount.
Please take care Dianne and may your fond memories of him keep you strong.

Dianne, Rod Stewart here. It was with great sadness that I just learned of Barry’s passing through a mutual associate, and I am shocked it was well over a year ago. We had sort of drifted apart the last too many years as our career paths took us in different directions. I will always remember Kozzy as a larger-than-life kind of guy, who was smart, witty, and dedicated to his career and to his family. I am sure you and the kids and their families miss him dearly. Please know that you and the family are in my thoughts and we will all miss Kozzy immensely.
