Lynn Vern (Buzz) LESNIK

February 4, 1941 – March 28, 2023

On the evening of March 28, 2023, Buzz passed away peacefully at the age of 82 years. Buzz is lovingly remembered by his son, James (Staci) Lesnik, and two granddaughters: Jessie and Sofia. Along with his former spouse and friend Mavis Park. He is also survived by his twin sister Lynn Spargo of Parksville, BC. Buzz was predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Hazel Lesnik, and his sister Eileen Stanley.

For those that knew Buzz, he was soft spoken, humble, and kind. Buzz loved to read. His passion was Science Fiction, Isaac Asimov and Ray Bradbury were some of his favourite authors. Buzz was very intelligent and loved to discuss any subject objectively with an open mind. He would truly listen to you without judgement. Buzz touched many lives. He will be greatly missed by us and everyone that knew and loved him.

Cremation has taken place and in respect to Buzz’s wishes there will be no funeral. An intimate gathering to celebrate his life will be held later in the summer.
