Mom was born September 19, 1944. She was the youngest of six children and was born and raised in the Calmar and Thorsby area. She had 4 children: Bonnie, Sally, Larry and Anita. She has two sons-in-law that she loved dearly, Joe and Dean. She has three beloved granddaughters: Nicole, Larissa and Ava.

She was a homemaker for the majority of her life with a few years working as a housekeeper for the local hotel. She loved to cook large meals and our Sunday family suppers were a sacred tradition that will continue long after. 

She loved gardening vegetables and flowers, as well as pickling the fruits of her labor. She loved sitting by a roaring bonfire with family and friends and had a love of all animals. 

She was incredibly strong after several battles with cancer and losing the love of her life in 2006. She was resilient and tenacious until the very end.
