Krystal Ellen Quinn-Wellman
It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of our dear Krystal’s passing. Sadly, Krystal passed away on Sunday April 9, 2023 at 6:00 pm, at the young age of forty-two.
Krystal was a beautiful daughter to Kevin and Kathleen, a caring and hilarious sister to Kevin (Lachelle) and Kelsie (Chris), and the proudest Auntie to her nieces and nephews, Leighton, Kane, Andrew, Molly and Blake. Most recently though, she was a bride, and became Mrs. Wellman on Sunday April 2nd. Brent made her dreams come true when he agreed to marry her. She loved her husband Brent with all her heart. Krystal officially became a Wellman only one week before she passed, but she was a part of the family for many years already. Doug and Leslie, Gord, Heather (Chad) and Nic and Ali loved Krystal. Krystal called the Wellman’s her family and she loved them so much.
In her final days, she fought hard to hold on to her life. She was a fighter right until her last breath. She held on until all of her loved ones were able to come and say good bye, and when she finally let go, she was surrounded by so much love. Her body is finally at rest, and she is no longer suffering. Krystal is free from her struggles and is now an angel watching over us all. We will miss her smile, her sarcasm, her love, her spirit. But we will always carry her inside our heart.

Krystal’s Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday April 23, 2023. The Memorial will be at the Kingsway Legion 14339-50th Street NW (Edmonton, Alberta) at 2:00 pm

Krystal is one of those people you meet and they leave the largest imprint on your heart. You never forget their jokes, their smile, their laugh and the way they make you feel.
I can’t comprehend the depth of your loss or the way you feel right now but please know I love you all and am hopeful that each of you, and all of us, can take comfort in each other during the difficult days ahead.
I find some solace in the fact that I will be able to keep my “little sister” alive in my heart through the lifetime of precious memories of her I hold so dear.
