Kelly Charles RIBBLE

Kelly was born in Hamilton, Ontario on July 17, 1970. From 1975 he lived in Alberta until his sudden death at age 52. He is survived by his mother Daphne, and his sister, Daphne Ann, two half brothers and two half sisters, Gary Glen, Gail and Gwen and numerous nephews and nieces. From 1984 the family moved to Spruce Grove where he attended school at Broxton Park and Spruce Grove Composite High School.

He always loved cars and trucks so it was no surprise that he ended up with a Class 1 license,  driving semi-trucks around Edmonton until he finally achieved his goal of highway driving which took him to the Peace country, and all points north to Inuvik. He loved the scenery and the wildlife he encountered in great numbers. He would have lived in the north in a heartbeat.
His hobbies were drawing, making models and dioramas (of cars and trucks of course) and he loved all things military.
He died suddenly at his home in Spruce Grove and has left a big hole in our hearts. We remember him with much love and many fond and funny memories.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 31 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gospel Center Pentecostal Church, 9445-153 Street.

Heartbreaking 💔 we loved him. He had a short visit a few years ago while in Ontario. Kelly got a big kick out of Bruce’s stories. I’m so sorry for your loss. Love Deb

I only really knew Kelly, my young cousin, when he was 6 years old and I was 21. We came to Alberta from England with our 9 month old son and stayed for 7 months. Kelly was a handsome boy, generally quiet, and a little shy of us at first, but soon warmed to having his baby cousin around, as long as he didn’t play with his cars!. I know Kelly grew up to be quite a character, that he was very much his own person, and a loving son and brother. It is heart breaking. Taken too soon aged only 52. My heart goes out to Aunty Daphne, and wee Daph. Wish I could be there in person with you tomorrow, but please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
    Love Netty ❤️ xx
