It is with great sadness and sorrow that we are announcing the passing of our beloved father and brother Alvin Edward Sturm after his courageous battle with cancer. Al passed away on July 28, 2021, at the age of 77.

Al will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Tammy (Harry), Carmen (Todd), Carrie-Ann (Darrel); sentimentally remembered by his grandchildren, Amirha, Aishie, Brittney, Ashton, and Brendon; great grandsons Caelen and Kaiden; and his soulmate and love, Doreen. Al will be dearly missed by his four sisters, Adeline, Lil, Ella and Shirley, two brothers Bill and Ray and a multitude of family and friends. Al was predeceased by his parents Gothilf and Caroline Sturm and siblings Rose, August and Vera.

Cremation has taken place. A family and friends gathering, and interment will be held at St. Michael’s Cemetery on Friday August 6, 2021, at 1:00 pm. Donations in Al’s memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
