Fran is survived by her husband of almost 25 years Pat, and children: Shandi (Jeff), Jillian, and David, and grandchildren Saoirse and Freyja. She was the middle of seven children of Irene and Edward Toohey. Fran has maintained a close relationship with all her siblings: Michael (Kathie), Maureen (Ron), Thomas (Sheree), Daniel (Kimberly), William (Melanie), and Matthew (Sherry) as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Fran was born in Edmonton on April 24, 1958. She grew up on the family farm near Wetaskiwin. Fran was a long serving educator with Edmonton Catholic Schools and only recently retired as a principal. She will be dearly missed by so many that she touched in her life of fun and service.
