Tanya Tara Renee STITTLE

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tanya Tara Renee Stittle of Drayton Valley, Tanya passed peacefully with her family by her side on December 12th, 2025, at the age of 51.

Tanya was born in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan on July 4th, 1974, the 3rd of 9 siblings to Ken and Elsie Stittle. Tanya moved to Drayton Valley in 1991 and put her roots down in the community soon welcoming her daughters Bobbi and Codi. In 1994, she met Danny Clark and the couple soon welcomed their son, Austin in 1995.

Tanya cherished her mother’s cookbooks- often baking her famous apple pies and having “bread days” with her kids. She frequently enjoyed floating down the Pembina River every chance she had- especially on her birthday, where all the kids and grandkids would be in tow. She relished the moments when the entire family could be together, traveling back home to Hudson Bay as frequently as she could to spend time with family and old friends.

Tanya will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her partner, Ed Bergen. Daughter Codi (Cody) Henderson and son Austin Clark, honorary sons, Shelby Lewis and Clayton Archer as well as her Grandchildren, McKenzie, Kadence, Charlotte and Rebecca. She will also be deeply missed by her father, Ken Stittle of Hudson Bay, her siblings, Ken Jr. (Christa), Jennifer (Shawn), Lenore (Thomas), Shamber (Howard), Logan (Shona), Borden, Tyler, Skylar (David)

Tanya was predeceased by her daughter, Bobbi Dean Clark and her mother, Elsie Stittle (nee VanKoughnett).

We take solace in knowing Tanya is finally reunited with her daughter, Bobbi. After 25 years, they have a lot of catching up to do.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later time.

Sad to hear of mama Tanya’s passing, but agree she had a long over due mother daughter date in heaven she must be elated to be having. 🫂 My love to all who knew her and got to experience her warm kind heart.
