STRATICHUK (Marko), Angeline

August 29, 1946 – January 13, 2026

It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of Angeline of Edmonton (formerly of Lafond and Westlock) who passed away at the age of 79 years at the U of A hospital.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Valerie Omasta and son-in-law Vern Omasta; her grandchildren, Sydney and Ryan; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, her Age Care family, and friends.

Angeline was predeceased by her son, Darcy Marko; her husband, Wayne; her former husband, Steve Marko; her parents, Nickolas and Annie Cozicar; and her 11 siblings—brothers Jake, Bill, and George, and sisters Margret, Dora, Katie, Gloria, Mary, Shirley, Ruby, and baby Lillian. She was the last surviving member of her family’s twelve siblings.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 24, 11:00 am at the Slovenian Hall, 16703 66 St NW, Edmonton.
