It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Christine Thiele of Edmonton on March 17, 2026.

She passed away peacefully surrounded by family.

Christine was a loving wife, a dedicated mother and a nurturing spirit to all her family. Christine was selflessly generous and kind to everyone. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

Christine was born on May 22, 1937. She was predeceased by her son, Paul Stubbe. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 32 years Martin Thiele, sister Inge Schwenke (Heinz), brother Peter Carl (Carol), sons: Douglas Tanner (Anne), Gordon Stubbe (Debbie), Robert Carl, Russell Tanner (Ethel), stepdaughters: Toni Seerden (Peter), Edie Thiele (Jim), Sharon Thiele (Lorry), grandchildren: Melissa, Christina, Kelsey, Tegan, Billy, Duncan, Jenna, Isaac, Rachael, and Megan, step grandchildren: Christopher and Becky, Brandon, Cameron, and Connor, great-grandchildren: Jamie, Sienna, Mary, Maya, Gabe Jr., Annabelle, Ivar, Violet, Lily, Ethan, and Emmett.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.  at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 18407-60 Avenue NW, Edmonton. Interment to follow at Northern Lights Cemetery.
