On March 7, 2021, Mr. Alexander Korneluk passed away at the age of 87 years. Alex is lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years Wanda Rowland, 2 brothers: Paul of Nanaimo, B.C and Tom (Sharon) of Dauphin, MB. and six stepchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Nick and Pearl as well as 2 brothers and 5 sisters.

Alex was born in Foxford, Saskatchewan. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He received numerous awards from Alberta Fish and Game. Alex was a long-time resident of Stony Plain, living there over 30 years. Alex was an employee of CN for 35 years.
