Jérôme Bertrand BORREL
It is with great sadness that we announce that Jérôme Bertrand Borrel passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on April 4, 2022. He was born on June 4, 1970, in Toulouse, France. He is predeceased by his father André and survived by his mother, Jacqueline; his wife, Allison; his sister Florence and her children, Marine and Roxanne; his brother, Hervé, and his children, Henri, Marlène and Lucile; and his pet children Portia, Valentine, Fiona, and Chibi.
Jérôme graduated with an MBA in Financial Planning and Entrepreneurship and had a career in finance and was a wine sommelier.
Jérôme had many talents which he was always so humble about. He was the ultimate gentleman. His heart was always bleeding for others. He always came last! Jérôme was an excellent listener and was always so patient and kind with people. He was an adventurer and was game to go anywhere and try anything. He was so cultured from all of his travels and had so much knowledge to share with the world. We learned so much from Jérôme.
Jérôme was also an avid jazz connoisseur and jazz drum player. He was an exceptional chef, and he enjoyed all sorts of physical activities – tennis, hiking, skiing, running, cycling and rowing.
His bright eyes and wonderful smile will forever warm our hearts. He always wore red and orange. Fiery, just like his spirit!
It only took meeting Jérôme once to remember him forever. We will tremendously miss our dear Jérôme.
Jérôme’s memorial service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Rio Terrace Church.
