It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, Kenneth Micheal Bramwell. Lovingly known as Mike. He leaves to mourn, 4 daughters, 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. His closest friend Janet and many other great friends. In the comfort of his home of over 20 years surrounded by family, Mike passed on the morning of October 22nd, 2026, after a brief illness.
We will remember our Father for his beautiful fun-loving spirit. He taught us to appreciate animals and nature, and the sun and the stars and all the God given beauty of our surroundings. He shared with us his passion for music which included a multitude of genres, and he liked to play it loud so it could be heard and felt by everyone. Mike was a great dancer, and he enjoyed singing and even played a little guitar. He was always up for a good time.
Mike loved watching sports. He was a huge Edmonton Oilers, Edmonton Eskimos and Toronto Blue Jays fan, but would watch any team with enthusiasm. He played slow-pitch for many years and gained many long-lasting friendships from that part of his life.
Mike had an incredible work ethic and was very skilled in welding and fabrication. He worked in fabrication shops, the oilfield, and he also ran his own mobile welding service. Mike took great pride in his ability to work and to do good work.
Mike was also a veteran, serving 3 years in the Canadian military in his late teens, early twenties. He had the opportunity to serve overseas in Cypress during that time as a peacekeeper. Mike was very patriotic and loved his country and he defended it with pride.
Everyone that knew Mike loved him. He was an honest man with a positive outlook on the world, and he was always grateful for the air in his lungs and the dirt under his feet. His free spirit and his optimism lit up the room, and we were all better people just to be in his presence.
We will miss you Dad!!
