It is with profound sadness that I share the passing of a great man and loving father, Jose Vigilia Buenaventura also known to many as Pepe, who left us on September 16, 2024 at the age of 72. 

Surrounded by his loving family in his final moments, he was a man of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. His passion for nature, music and his unwavering spirit will forever be remembered. 

He is survived by his wife Delma Buenaventura. His children Joey, Joan, and Josie. Jose’s grandsons Joey Jr. and Jin, who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edmund’s Catholic Parish, 13120-116 Street NW, Edmonton, AB.
