Faye Arlene CALDWELL
Faye Arlene Caldwell
March 7, 1950 – March 6, 2025
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Faye Arlene Caldwell, who left us peacefully on March 6, 2025, in Edmonton, just one day shy of her 75th birthday.
Born in Nipawin, Saskatchewan, Faye was the youngest of four children and the beloved daughter of Hazel Belle (Brown) Johnson and Albert Louis Johnson. She had a sharp wit, a love for proper grammar, word games, and etiquette, and never passed up the chance for a lively discussion.
Faye cherished her home, her garden, and her beloved pets, Johnny and Sassy. She found joy in spending time at Jackie Parker Park, where she built lifelong friendships with fellow dog walkers. She also formed close bonds with her neighbors, who became like family over the years.
Faye was a sister and an aunt, roles she cherished deeply. She is survived by her sister Elaine Sullivan, her niece Jodi Oluk, and her nephew and niece Jason and Lanise Hayes, who will forever hold her in their hearts. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings, Leonard Johnson, and Karen Hayes.
Faye’s warmth, humor, and kindness touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed but always remembered.
A memorial gathering will be held at her home in Edmonton on March 18, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. For details, please contact the family.
In her honor, donations may be made to a local animal shelter or a cause close to your heart.
Faye’s love for her home, her pets, and the people around her will live on in the memories of those who knew her.

So well said, you described Faye perfectly. I’m really going to miss our coffee dates. Faye and I very much shared a love of animals and I couldn’t even begin to count how many hours we spent talking about animal rescue and how to fix it. I will be making a donation to one of our favourite smaller rescues in Faye’s honour. Look forward to seeing you all at her celebration of life memorial.
I agree the obituary described Faye perfectly. I worked with Faye for many years at AGT.
Condolences to Elaine, Jodi, Jason & Lanise.
