Alexander George CARNEGIE
Alexander George Carnegie (Alec) was Born January 7th, 1949, in Taggart Ontario to Nora Lily and George Charles Gustav Carnegie. Alec was the first of three followed by Norval born February 14th, 1952, and Jeannette November 16th, 1954.
As a child he loved playing Antie Antie I Over, Bike Riding, Kite Flying, and Nighttime Hide and Seek. Alec attended James Gibbons Elementary, and Jasper Place High School where he was a part of the wrestling team The Rebels. He was a Heavy Duty Mechanic and then moved on to becoming an electrician with Nightingale electric until he retired in 2011.
Alec loved wood working, Camping, Fishing, Gardening, and cooking. He also loved his pets! Prince a Collie, Teddy a Pomeranian, and Kash an English Springer Spaniel. Most of all he would ALWAYS put his family first whether it was his parents and siblings or his children or grandchildren!
He is lovingly remembered by his two daughters Amanda and Helen, three grandchildren: Xander, Ella, and Abby, niece Nora, nephew Billy, great nephews: Christian, Nicholas, Zennon, Archer, and Ranger, great nieces: August, Alabama and Angel, and great-great nephew Dalton.
Alec’s last four years were in Smoky Lake, AB, where he was a very active community member with the legion as well as the Seniors Drop-in center and United Church.

Alex I will forever hold you close in my heart. You were a inspiration to me and definitely will treasure our talks and laughs. Until we meet again.
Alec was a kind man and a long distance friend. I am sorry he has left too early, and I will donate to the Canadian Cancer Society in his memory.
