Colette Roberta (nee: Nichols) COWAN
It is with great sadness, much love, and beautiful memories the family of Colette Cowan (nee: Nichols) announce her passing on December 19, 2022.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Courtney; her parents Marie and Jim Nichols, her sisters Michelle (Doug), Darcelle and Danielle and her nieces Cassie, Chelsea, Caileigh, Charlotte and Kennedy.
Colette was born November 15, 1967, in Edmonton, Alberta. Colette spent her younger years hanging out at the pool with her sisters and friends as part of the Edmonton Blue Fin competitive swim club travelling western Canada and creating lifelong memories. Colette then spent her adult life forging out a career in the food and grocery industry landing at The Village at Pigeon Lake as the bakery manager at Buy Low Foods at the Village Market.
Colette lived in Ontario for over 10 years, returning to Alberta several years ago where she settled out at Pigeon Lake. It was at Mameo Beach, and with forever gratitude to Kris and Kerry Bremac, that Colette had a place she loved to call home.
Colette will be dearly missed by family and both new and lifelong friends.
Thank you to all who have shared prayers, kind words of support and memories during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
A celebration of Colette’s life will be held on
