Tylerr CRAWFORD
It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden death of Tylerr Crawford (27), on April 24th, 2024. Tylerr will be remembered by both his friends and family for his helpful nature and kind spirit.
Tylerr was born on November 9th, 1996, in Edmonton, Alberta. His life began as a member of the Bruce Family until he was adopted by the Crawford Family at the age of seven. Tylerr was a fun-loving child who enjoyed ball hockey, swimming, soccer, bowling, fishing and boy scouts. He was known for his love of music and could often be found performing for his family. One of his first idols was Ty Pennington who built homes for those in need, further reflecting Tylerr’s kind nature and helping heart.
Throughout his life, Tylerr was an avid sports fan, who loved hockey, race cars, and MMA. He was always keen to learn more about his favorite players, drivers, and fighters and his memory for statistics were unmatched. Tylerr’s love for music kept him up to date on the newest songs and artists. Music allowed Tylerr to express himself and he could usually be found singing or rapping. He would often share his new musical discoveries with others.
Tylerr had the opportunity to travel to Florida, Nova Scotia, PEI and Mexico among many other trips around Alberta. After graduating high school, Tylerr went on to attend Red Deer College but decided to move back to Edmonton and continue his work in hospitality. Tylerr excelled at customer service because of his smiley disposition and willingness to help others.
During family gatherings, Tylerr could be found surrounded or shadowed by children who adored his soft side and willingness to play. He made lasting connections with the children in his life and went on to father two beautiful daughters of his own: Penelope and Paisly. He was so proud to be a father and his heart was always with his children, even when he could not be.
As an adult, Tylerr struggled with both depression and addiction. In the end, he was unable to escape the demons of addiction.Tylerr will always be remembered for the kindness he showed the world and will always be more than his addiction.
Tylerr is predeceased by his father (Devern Crawford), grandfather (Allan Perkins), and his birth mother (Crystal Bruce).
He is survived by his mother (Pamela Crawford), biological father (Trevor Skani), siblings (Crystal Willier, Steven Willier, Chase Crawford, Raylene Crawford, Aiyana, Kaiya, and Hailey), grandmother (Lorna, Barb Bruce, and Carol Crawford), grandfather (Vernon Crawford), and daughters Penelope and Paisly. Tylerr is also survived by several half siblings beyond those mentioned previously and has a large extended family with many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss him dearly.
The Crawford Family will be hosting a private service and viewing, followed by a burial at a later date. We would like to thank you for all your support and understanding during this difficult time. The Bruce and Skani families will have a wake in his honor at Sacred Heart Church.

Keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Rip mr Crawford. While the distances in which our journeys had crossed one another wasn’t anything exceptionally remarkable, you were.and In that short time you left such a kind and down to earth realness imprinted with me. They say only the good die young, Tyler. So I can’t say that I’m shocked that you were called back by the creator only 27 years young, I’m truly sorry to hear of your passing. And your fight may be over but your job is far from done. I ask that you watch over your family. Keep them safe and nudge the winds of fate ever favourably in their direction untill they day you see them again. Rest easy buddy. Don’t be afraid to call upon your ancestors, angels & those who were also taken too soon for support.
To his two daughters and the rest of his family and friends who knew him longer then I had a chance to. I’m truly sorry. Always feels like the ones who deep down are the strongest who should have beat the battle of addiction. Im so tired. It hurts to see our people go. I’m so sorry.
