Novica was born in Zrenjanin, Serbia on April 15, 1963 to parents Spasoja and Ana Curic.

He was the firstborn child and had a younger sister Mirjana.Novica had a very versatile personality and had a lot of interests in his younger days. He was an avid reader, of pshychology especially, played waterpolo and was a part time coach, and studied physics in university. A bit later in life he developed a passion for woodwork, too. In 1995 he married Mirjana Curic and had two children Leana and Stefan. The family lived in Novica’s hometown, Zrenjanin, their whole life up until Novica’s move to Canada in 2012. Upon his first wife sadly passing away from ALS, Novica remarried to Constancia Dela Pena Tanael who he met while residing in Canada. In the years to follow, Novica’s days were filled with truck driving, fixing odd things around the house, and spending free time with his family.

His friends and family are devastated to have to say goodbye to Nole so soon. He will be greatly missed and always remembered for his sense of humor and weird jokes.
