Winter-Star Emiline DION
Winter-Star Dion was born March 7, 2000, daughter of Belinda Dion and Curtis Soloway. She was the first child for Belinda Dion and in the next couple of years had 2 younger sisters, Nakita and Cheyenne. Winter loved her family and had the opportunity to have a number of caregivers in her life. Her mother Belinda was a prominent figure in her life as well as George Thompson (father to Nakita and Cheyenne).
Lynn and Roger Stoney were also very prominent in her life and spent a lot of quality time with her. Winter spent many of her years of her life living with her Grandmother, Shirley Dion, with most of those years in Val Quentin creating cherished memories with many of her cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family.
Winter loved her family deeply, including all of the bumps and challenges along the way. Though sometimes she was very angry with the challenges in her life, had she been able she would have wrapped every family member in love and protected them. Winter loved to laugh and make those around her happy, whether you were family, friend, or a lost kitten. But of course, the absolute love of her life was her daughter Scarlett born March of 2016. Through every step of recovery her daughter was her driving force and through every day of her life Scarlett was in her heart. The two of them were often like best friends and many memories were made through hugs, laughter, playtime, and spa days. Her favorite names for Scarlett were “My Little Bean’ and “Mini Me”. Winter will live forever in our hearts.
