George Bernard Addison MCIVOR “Bernie”
On Wednesday, November 11, 2020, Mr. Bernie McIvor of Devon passed away at the age of 76 years after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.
Bernie is lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years Karen, their children: Bernie, Chris (Janie) and Meghan (Travis); grandchildren: Madeline, Kylie, Kaeden, Gracie, Easton and Emmerson. Bernie was predeceased by his parents, George and Francesca, sister Betty Ann and brother-in-law Ron.
Bernie worked in the aviation industry for 44 years. He was well loved and will be missed by all his family and friends.
A private memorial mass will be held to celebrate Bernie’s life. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Aviation Museum or the SPCA. To livestream the service Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. please go to the following link:

So sorry to hear about Bernie. He was quite a character. I still have very fond memories of you guys. Bernie crashing planes and bringing home a telephone pole. So funny! Take care
