We will all miss David very much. He was a big part of our Unitarian community. As part of the Tuesday men’s volunteer group, he helped keep our church in good repair. My sister Donna and I enjoyed many meals and bridge games with David and Paulette. Thinking of your family with sympathy and the hope that time will bring comfort to your hearts.

I first met Dave when I was about 19 years old. I’m 67 now. As a young man, just learning my trade, he was a major influence in my life.
During some very tough years, he taught me that doing the right thing, was not always easy, but it was essential.
We had not kept in touch for over 40 years as our lives simply took different paths, but his advice never let me down.
He gave me the confidence that I could achieve far more than I thought I could.
I wish I could have told him this in person, Thank You.

Sad to read of his passing. I often tried to look him up when visiting Salmon Arm over the years where I had spent some time living with him and Paulette as their tenant back in 2000. He was light hearted, kind and humorous and took the time to help me out as I was new in town; made me feel at home.
