Darrel Gene Harder, late of Vegreville, Alberta, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. 

Darrel was born on October 1, 1942, in Swift Current, SK.  He is survived by his wife Darlene, daughters, Sharmon Holyk (Arlis), Sharla Homeniuk and Shauna Rutherford, grandchildren Shelby, Scott, Justina, Shawn, Litania, Tian, Martina and Delaney and 4 great-grandchildren, Adam, Liam, Sienna and Wrenley, sister Marcia Driedger (Les).  He was predeceased by his son, James, son-in-law, Cliff and his brothers, Wayne Harder, Garnet Harder and his sister Valerie Dyck. 

Cremation has taken place, and a private interment will be held at Turnhill Cemetery at a later date.
