Charles Henry Hill

It is with great sadness, the family of Charles Chris Hill, announces his passing at the Kipness Center for Veterans in Edmonton, Alberta on October 16, 2024 at the age of 87

Chris was born on September 15, 1937 in Dauphin, Manitoba, to George and Mary Hill.

In January 1959, Chris married Joyce Maciborski and had 6 children together. 

Lance (Brenda) Hill of Sudbury, Ontario, Lee (Debbie) Hill of Surrey, B.C., Darla Hill of Saskatchewan, James Hill of Wetaskiwin, Alberta Nina (Jimmy) Downey of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Marti~Jo (Robby) Wolfe of Edson, Alberta

Chris enjoyed his extended family of Grandchildren Niki, Ronnie, TJ, Chad, Jeffrey, Timmy, Marlee, Cody, Mitchell, Devon, Ashlen, Dylan

 Greatgrandchildren 

Payten, Jalisah, Zander, Lybi, Jaime, Lincoln, Bryson, Rory, Owen & baby girl

As well Brothers, Sisters with numerous nieces & nephews

Chris was predeceased by his Wife Joyce Hill (Maciborski), his 2 Sons James Hill, Lee Hill, Daughter Nina Hill (Downey), Parents George & Mary Hill, as well many brothers & sisters. 

Chris will be sadly missed by numerous friends from his Army days, his Horsemanship Tribe & Child fostering who called him Papa or Grampy ♡ & anyone who knew him thru his love of exotic birds.

Chris chose cremation with no service. There will be a Remembrance Dinner announced by invitation for immediate family.
