Kenneth Randall Hillaby
June 24, 1950 – April 26, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Randall Hillaby, who died peacefully on April 26, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Ken brought joy and depth to the lives of many through his music, creativity, and presence.

Ken was a beloved father to Angela and Jason, a grandfather to Chloe and Dax, and a brother to Larry. Known across the city as a musical genius and artist, Ken’s spirit shone through in his legendary smile, charisma, and unique sense of humour. He was a deep conversationalist, spiritual and intelligent, with a personality that was both unique and unforgettable. His warmth, kindness, and artistic legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Ken passed due to pneumonia and complications from ARDS, but his strength, grace, and light remained with him until the end.

A memorial service will be held on what would have been his 75th birthday, June 24, 2025 at 10:30 am at Holy Cross Cemetery in St. Albert, 14611 Mark Messier Trail NW.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
