It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Jolette Hodson of Edmonton Alberta, suddenly on May 13, 2025, after a brief illness. She was 72 years of age.

Jolette will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Alyson. She is also survived by her nieces Tricia (Terry), Jennifer, Lisa (Brent), Shannon (George) and eight great-nieces and nephews: Nelson, Augustine, Jordan, Matthew, Tyler, Jason, Jessica, and Brandon.  Jolette was predeceased by her parents Kay and George Filax and her brother Dale.

A dedicated and hard-working woman, Jolette was proud to be celebrating 40 years with Emco this year. 

A Celebration of Jolette’s Life will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 between 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Laurier Heights Hall, 14405 85Ave NW.

In honor of her deep love for animals, memorial donations may be made to the Edmonton Humane Society.
