Kelly Lee KRUZ

It is with broken hearts that we are announcing the sudden passing of Kelly Lee Kruz (Naundorf) on January 18, 2023, at the age of 55 in Calgary, Alberta.

Kelly is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Lynn Brodsky,  sister Ramona Whiteley, brother Tim Hildebrandt, stepsister Cristie Krause, and stepfather Stephen Hildebrandt.  She was predeceased by her parents Edgar Naundorf and Ida Hildebrandt.

Kelly easily made friends and truly connected to people. She jumped into everything with both feet and passionately tackled life’s adventures and hurdles. Kelly loved her career in the movie industry and shared many stories of her life with pride.  She was very energetic, caring, light-hearted, and loving. Always there to help a person in need. She was ready for anything and loved to travel, which led her down so many paths in her life. She was very determined and full of dreams, always ready to take the road less traveled.

A memorial will be held at River West Christian Church 19815 – 45ave NW Edmonton, AB, on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted to the Alberta SPCA, 17904 118 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB, T5S 2W3, or a charity of one’s own choice.

Kelly’s zest for life and a new challenge will always be remembered. She had a tough spirit along with a desire to always try new things. I will miss our times on the deck drinking wine and laughing for many hours.

sorry to hear about Kelly I remember her growing up in Beacon Hts , playing ringette and enjoying her friends. Her Mom Ida was a great lady. She organized a teen club in Beacon and helped out in the community .

Kelley Kruz where to begin? In the 10 years that I have known you, we have shared some great memories. From meeting you at Moyie Lake to getting you all done up last Halloween. We have shared vacations to Cuba together, one being our Wedding in Cayo Santa Maria. When I was getting my pictures done , you fluffed my dress up and placed the bouquets on the train. The photo turned out beautiful. You were always taking care of others. For all that knew you, they definitely would have experienced your generosity and kindness. With that being said, a few Christmas’ ago, you wanted it to be the best Christmas. I remember all the cheese you had bought for the evening. I think we had enough cheese for a year. One of the funniest moments, well for us anyway, was when we accidentally put salt instead of sugar in Wade’s coffee. We contemplated dumping it out but decided it would be funny to watch Wade’s reaction when he drank it…..lol.
Kelley, I admire the passion you had for all that you accomplished in your life due to your determination. You were unstoppable. I loved hearing all your stories about the actors/actresses you had met during your career in film. I lived vicariously through your nomadic ways.
Kelley, as many will, we will miss you tremendously! We are devastated by your unexpected passing and will always remember the wonderful memories we had made with you.
    Love ya gal ❤️

I was just talking to you Kelly 1 week before you left us. I owe Kelly a lot for all of the work she gave me in the film industry. Kelly instilled a lot of confidence in me being I only had 6 months of film experience when she hired me. Kelly taught me so much in a short period of time I’m forever grateful to her. Also..She was one of the kindest funniest hard working persons I’ve ever met…she always said..I need you to have my back..well Kelly..I had your back when you were in this life and..I have your back while you are now in the afterlife. I know Kelly’s Spirit is still Shining in the afterlife…R.I.P Kelly Kruz..you will never be forgotten…My Deepest Condolences To All Family And Friends..Peace.
