Cathy Joan LAMB
Cathy passed away peacefully at home with Family and loved ones at her side on March 13, 2022.
She will be remembered for many beautiful reasons but everyone will remember her amazing loving smile and Her loving spirit and soul.
We are looking forward to seeing her at the “Farm” where she will join her Dad.
Cathy was born in 1958 in Edmonton. She fondly remembered growing up in Cloverdale and Duggan with her Mom Joan, Dad Peter and two brothers and two sisters, Gary(Myrna), Debbie(Ron), Barry(Jan)and Laurie(Dwayne). Not long after she finished high school she met and married Barry. She loved telling everyone that she turned 20 on her honeymoon in Hawaii.
Three beautiful children, Dariel, Serena and Brandon came into the family and were her world, until two awesome Grandsons arrived and made her world that much more beautiful. She had two son in-laws, Ted & Luc who she loved as her own and was grateful to have them as part of her family.
Everyone will remember her for her passion of food and meals. She made the most incredible bread and buns as well as perogies like Baba’s which she served with delight while hosting Ukrainian Christmas every year since 1982. She was also a talented quilt maker and sewer, which gave her great pleasure especially when she was able to gift someone special with one of her creations.
Cathy was such a loving, caring and giving soul and leaves so many family and friends with broken hearts but they all know that she can now Rest In Peace and she will be watching over us.
There are no words to describe how she will be missed, but loved forever.
