Cynthia May LARONDE

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister and daughter, Cynthia May Laronde. She was called home to be with the Creator and with her cherished daughter, Chanel Tiana Houle, who predeceased her four years ago.

Cynthia was the loving daughter of Daniel Deschamps and Judy Laronde. She was blessed with the love and guidance of her stepmothers, Florence Deschamps and Lucy White-Deschamps. She was a dearly loved sister to Jody Laronde, Daniel Laronde, Mandy Lee, Starla Laronde, Vicki Jo Dupuis, Lorie White, Patrick White, Josie Sparklingeyes, Lionel Houle, Angel Houle, Raymond Houle, George Houle, Julia Houle-Sparklingeyes, Mathew Houle, and a loving auntie to Jolan, Joseph, Kaydan, Tyla, Trysta, Kingston, Zachaylo, along with numerous Aunts and Uncles.

To know Cynthia was to know a truly remarkable spirit. She possessed a rare combination of a sharp, intelligent mind, a wonderfully funny sense of humour, and a beauty that radiated from within. Her laughter was infectious, capable of lighting up the darkest of rooms, and her clever wit ensured there was never a dull moment in her presence. She faced profound sorrow in her life, especially with the loss of her daughter, but her strength and loving nature continued to shine through.

Cynthia has now been reunited with her precious daughter, a source of comfort for our grieving hearts. While her absence leaves an unimaginable void, her memory will be forever cherished by her heartbroken parents, her siblings, and all the extended family and friends who were fortunate enough to be touched by her beautiful soul.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 11:00 am - 3:00 pm at Our Lady of Mercy - Enoch.

Cremation will take place Friday - with a small ceremony to follow to lay her to rest with Chanel. “Love you to the moon and back, and beyond infinity”

My beautiful bestie! I will always cherish our time together. We’ve known each other for years and years. Even though we never knew each other the entire time when we reunited it was as if time has not passed. You have left a huge gap in my heart. Your incredible strength and ambition was like no other. Everytime you fell you got right back up and tried again. You never gave up. I am sooooooo saddened that you’re gone but beyond grateful I’ve had a chance to have known you. You will forever be remembered as my bestie.
    I love you woman!
