Kevin Jerome MACDONALD

Kevin Jerome MacDonald

“Forever in our hearts”

Kevin was born on November 22,1962 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He was raised in Spryfield (Halifax, NS) by his Grandma Anne Lola Workman and his Mother Jean Elizabeth Workman.

He moved to the Port Hawkesbury/Antigonish, Nova Scotia area in 1989 where he started a family, had 2 beautiful children, built up his career in business management and made many friends along the way.

Kevin was very determined in life, when he set his mind to doing something he always succeeded and had a way of making others feel like they could do the same, making him a great leader in his personal and work life.

Kevin loved to listen to music and cook in his free time, spent hours perfecting his pizza dough and sauce recipes. He especially loved cooking for those he loved more so than for himself—morning, noon, middle of the night you name it he did it in a heartbeat. Many of us have fond memories spend in the kitchen learning from him as he cooked up a storm.

Kevin met Jennifer in 2004 with whom he started the next chapter of his life bringing his second son into the world just a couple years later. He moved to Edmonton in 2006 in pursuit of work which he found and excelled at for years to come making some lifelong friends along the way.

Jennifer and Wyatt soon followed to Edmonton in 2008 to reunite as a family unit. In 2011 Victoria  was born making his big family complete. Kevin spent the last 19 years of life in Edmonton working hard to help provide for his family, spending what free time he had with his family making memories, until passing away suddenly on Monday December 29,2025 at the age of 63.

Kevin is predeceased by his Grandma Anne Lola Workman and Mother Jean Elizabeth Workman.

Kevin is survived by his common law partner Jennifer Anne Cormier, Daughter Maranda Marlene MacDonald (Daniel Joseph MacDougall), Sons Kevin Jake Michael MacDonald and Wyatt James Cormier, Daughter Victoria Jean Cormier and 2 grandchildren Jada Ciara Mariam MacRae and Daniel James Jerome MacDougall.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

“Gone but never forgotten, forever missed by all who knew and loved him”
