In Loving Memory of Frank Manaj

We say a heartfelt farewell to Frank Manaj, who passed away October 5, 2026 at the age of nearly 93.

Frank was a proud and loving father to Dawn Manaj and Dale Manaj and devoted grandfather to Brayden Critchley.

With family roots in Poland, Frank was raised in Alberta. He met his beloved wife Frances Elizabeth Peters, in Edmonton, and they married in 1967. Frances passed away in 2019. Together, they shared many years of marriage and were long time residents of Alberta Beach and he enjoyed watching the wildlife and variety of birds from their living room window.

Frank was well known and appreciated for his exceptional skill and passion as a pitcher on his company baseball team, a roll that reflected his love of the game and the friendships he built along the way.

Frank will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Dawn Manaj; his son, Dale Manaj; and his grandson, Brayden Critchley.  He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Patricia Corbett; nephews: Philip Ashton, Kevin Ashton, Richard Ashton, Steven Ashton, Adam Corbett, Nathan Corbett and nieces Annette Florence (daughter, Nala and son,
Lucius), Vicky Ashton (daughter, Tetris and son, Dominic ).

Frank leaves behind cherished memories and will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.

May he rest in peace and be remembered always.
