Louis, Glenn and family:
I was deeply saddened by Sherry’s passing. She was part of “The Gang” from Sturgeon Hospital who worked closely with the team to put on the best social events! I am glad that we had our few quick chats this past year when she’d come in to SCH to check on her vendors. Fred thought very highly of her, and I’m sure he was happy to greet her when she arrived at her final destination. I will miss her, and I know I am not alone in that. She was special.
I’m sorry for your loss! Sherry made many of my family’s special occasion cakes. They were beautifully decorated and tasted so good!
I am deeply saddened to hear about Sherry’s passing. She was a wonderful lady, always ready with a smile. We called her “the cake lady” but she wasn’t just any cake lady. We ordered dozens and dozens of cakes from her and her cakes made every celebration beautiful and very special. She will be deeply missed. My condolences to her entire family.
Dear Louie, son Glenn, grandchildren Jordan, Ashley, and Owen; sister Lorraine and brother Jack,
I am saddened to hear of the passing of Sherry Anne. I have fond memories of having fun with my cousin Sherry, especially climbing the trees along the long driveway to the family farm.
Please accept my condolences during this difficult time.
To Louis:: sincere condolences and prayers from us who are part of SHAVA. Adeline, volunteer, who used to see you regularly at the Adult Day program and elsewhere; also Adeline who was on the SHAVA Board until recently. Sherrie will be missed greatly by so many with whom she was in contact for doing so many duties and projects on a regular basis. Adeline and Daryl Eggen
Dear Louis and Glenn(Corrine); grandchildren Jordan, Ashley, and Owen; sister Lorraine and brother Jack(Corrine),
Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Sherry. We will always remember our five year old son’s comment when he saw the cake that Sherry had prepared to celebrate Ray’s fortieth birthday; Marc was always fascinated with mountains!

I’m very sad of Sherry’s passing, we have been great friends for 20 years. We remained close after her retirement, going to movies , lunches will never be same. She always treated me like a daughter. I will miss her chats and phone calls. She contributed so much to Sturgeon Hospital. 39 years plus all volunteering. Raising money through Shava and market days. She will be greatly missed. Condolences Louie, glen and family. Rest in peace my friend. Joan warren

We met in 1976 +or- when she was the “ward clerk “ on Surgery in the first SGH .

Rest in peace Sherry
Our deepest condolences Uncle Louie, Glenn and family. Aunt Sherry was a great lady with lots of insight and perspective. I loved hearing about her work to uncover the ancestry of the family. She created beautiful made to order cakes for our girls’ weddings. Wonderful memories. So glad we had, in recent years, the family get togethers for breakfast. It was a real opportunity to connect. She will be missed.
To the family,
I feel privileged to have known Sherry for the past 25 years. First as a unit clerk who was a wealth of information for anyone. Secondly, as others have mentioned, she was known to many as the creator behind such beautiful cakes. Then most recently as part of the SHAVA board.
Sherry always was willing to step in and help.
She will be missed by many.
Condolences to the families with the passing of Sherry. I did not know her all that well. I met her when I was with SHAVA. A very warm friendly person.
Dear Louis & Family,
We are so sorry to hear of Sherry’s passing. She was always a cheerful, fun, yet conscientious part of our group at the Sturgeon Hospital and we will always remember her beautiful, creative cakes. We send our condolences & sincere sympathy.

I am so sorry for your loss. May your memories bring you smiles.
So sorry for the loss of your life long companion. Sherry was a wonderful woman gracious and always a smile. It’s been awhile since we’ve seen each other but have great memories of our times together at the rink. Condolences to all of you.
My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Sherry. I met Sherry when I joined the Sturgeon Hospital team in 1977 as Unit Manager on Pediatrics. Those were great times in the old hospital! Sherry was a most active team player, not only doing her job, but with other social and volunteer activities for the hospital. She was so personable, fun loving, always with a smile and she was well known for her cake making….a hobby she was most passionate about. Sherry made a number of cakes for the Pediatric Unit events, our Anniversaries and my Nursing Class Reunions.
I will remember her with much fondness and I am grateful to have known her.
With heartfelt sympathy and caring thoughts,
Jan Aikens
Cher Oncle Louis et Glenn – Wishing you and Glenn’s family our deepest condolences. Auntie Sherry was an incredibly talented person who could do just about anything. I remember her teaching Memère how to knit and crochet. And those cakes! She will be missed. I’m glad I got to see her in November. Gisèle
