He started his education at Guthrie school in Lancaster Park (Edmonton)AB where he met his best friend Steve and graduated from high school in Comox, B.C. After graduating high school, he completed two years at North Island College.

His working career started at the age of 15 when he worked as a short order cook then computer programming, security and lastly, he worked with his wife Chrissy making pasta and sauces at Troika foods, Sherwood Park, AB.

In Chris’s younger years his passions were biking, rock climbing, caving and reading. Later on in life, his passions were his family, spending time outdoors, going for walks, making his own mead and cooking for family and friends and gaming with his friends. He especially loved watching hockey with his sons and rooted for their favorite team, The Edmonton Oilers. Chris was known to be a loving, caring, husband, father and friend.
