Barry G. MOORE
Barry G. Moore
It is with great sadness that Barry Moore of Red Deer, AB passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 70 years. Barry was predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Ruth.
You went away so suddenly, we did not say goodbye. You left without warning and only God knows why. I miss your laugh, your smile and your stories. You will always live in my heart. Brother, I hope you are riding your motorcycle and flying planes!!
Gone Riding
(various words from this poem)
Don’t cry for me, I still ride free, with the wind upon my face, the sun on my back.
Don’t shed one tear, and think I am in hiding. Just search Heaven’s highways, where engines roar, and you’ll find that I’ve gone riding.
(He’s riding with the Angels now)
The Pilot’s Flight
(Various words from this poem)
You dance with clouds, where earth meets sky, a steady heart that dares to fly.
In every take off, every glide. You hold the world with skill and pride.
Above the noise, beyond the ground, You find the freedom safe and sound.
When engines roar and horizons call. You answer boldly, standing tall.
Once you’ve tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return – (Leonardo da Vinci)

My wife Diane and I are missing Barry’s analytical reviews of the world events. I learned so much on political history of the world. He was teaching me on solid investments and for the last five years he was wintering his motorcycle in my garage where we would hone our best practices in motorcycle maintenance I meet Barry in 1987 in the aviation industry and was happy when he joined working with me at Air Tindi where he captained a medivac Beech 250GT out of Cambridge Bay Nunavut.
Fly Safe Brother.
