Dad, I will miss you forever. But I take great comfort knowing you are at peace and free of this world that took such a toll on you in the last few years.
I will move forward knowing you will always be looking out for me.
Peter was a kind and caring person and I will forever be grateful that you are my father.
He was also gifted with intelligence. I may never meet anyone as smart as him.
He graduated high school in Copper Cliff ontario with honors and had a full scholarship at Queens University in Kingston in the engineering program.
His parents Gerald (Gibby)and Margorie were not well off. Gibby worked his entire life in the mines at Inco in Sudbury after returning from WW2.
They didn’t have the money to send to Peter to cover all the expenses that the scholarship did not.Peter was determined to get his education and after arriving in Kingston found a way to make money.
Don’t know if anyone had ever played pool with my father, but I can tell you he only lost if he wanted you to win.
Soon he was sending money back home. He continued supporting the both of them while they were alive while also taking care of his own family.
Thats just one story of many that I have of Peter that reflects the person that he was.
A loving son and a loving father.
I will miss our talks on Sundays Dad.
Rest in peace and thank you so much for everything ❤️

I am sorry for your loss. In a very much smaller way Peter’s passing was a loss to me. I had contaqct with both Peter and Gerta. I bought unit 215 from her and sold it to him in 2010. Got to know Peter when we came back to Edm and moved into unit 211. I will miss him. We are praying for you all in this difficult time

Hello Mike…please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your Dad…Peter was a friend for 26 years. We met at Professional Singles Club on the Volleyball court…He was very welcoming to myself and was a great team player, always able to return the ball into the back court just inside the court, making it very hard for the opposing team to return the ball. Also loved to watch your Dad and the love of his life Gerda on the dance floor, they both had the very biggest smiles on their faces and one could easily see how much they cared for each other. Peter was always there for Gerda and one could see how much he was missing her once she had passed. I am sure he is at peace and he and Gerda are together again. Please accept my sincere condolences
