Raymond Arthur PELLETIER
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raymond Arthur Pelletier (1957–2025) of Ashmont, Alberta. Raymond passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on January 8, 2025.
He is deeply mourned by his beloved partner, Bella Marten, and his three daughters: Tina Carson (Lee), Nicole Lemke (Myron), and Christine Cottrell and his first wife Angeline Sigurdson. He was a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren: Kingston, Trystan, Madden, Macey, James, Nathaniel, Rebekah, Grace, and Charlotte. Raymond also leaves behind his sister, Deborah Chase, and his faithful dog, Chewie. He was predeceased by his parents, Evelyn and Raymond Pelletier.
Born on January 2, 1957, in Sudbury, Ontario, Raymond spent his childhood exploring the outdoors – running the streets, climbing boulders, and swimming in the lake. He went on to work as a Boilermaker, a career that provided a good life for his family.
Raymond found joy in camping, hiking, and sitting by bonfires, which inspired him to retire to his cherished acreage, where he could fully embrace his love for nature.
Raymond will be remembered for his hard work, love for his family, and his appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Bella, Tina, Nicole and Christine, we are all so very sorry for your loss. Thinking of you all. Love the Bastura/Mancini family.
Dear Pelletier family

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
With sympathy,
Tina-Louise, Dewald and the Steyn family.
So sorry to hear of Ray’s passing, we worked together at Neil’s Trailers in 1980. One day Ray appeared at my apartment door and said “Angie and I are moving in to be the building managers!” Well that started a bunch of fun, it’s great to remember Angie’s tacos, camping in the new Ford Bronco, newborn Tina. Unfortunately we lost touch, but what a great guy. Brian Caverly, Barrie, on .
Thank you for sharing the memory Brian.
