Darcee PIERSON

Darcee Pierson, who was born in Edmonton in 1965, and passed away in Edmonton on March 30, 2026, is being remembered as a loving, kind, and funny woman whose life was defined by devotion to her family and the many thoughtful ways she showed her care.
Darcee built her days around the people she loved most, and those who knew her best say her warmth was immediate, her laugh was memorable, and her presence had a way of making any room feel more welcoming. She will be remembered not only for her gentle nature, but also for the kindness she extended to others without hesitation.
Darcee’s family was the center of her world. She is survived by her husband, Kerry, and by her children, Kyla, Ryan, Chase, and Brenden. She also leaves behind her grandchild, Sophie, who brought her great joy. Darcee took pride in her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother, and she found meaning in the everyday moments spent with the people closest to her. Whether she was offering support, sharing a story, or simply being present, she made her love known in ways that were both practical and deeply heartfelt.
She is also remembered by her father, Darryl Olson, and her sisters, Wanda (Al), Lani (Dennis), Laurel (JJ), and numerous nieces and nephews who shared in her life and the many memories that came with it. Darcee was predeceased by her mother, Sandra Olson, whose memory remained an important part of her family story.
A celebration of life will follow at a later date.

Deeply saddened to hear of Darcees passing.
She was such a kind and caring person she will be greatly missed.
My condolences to Darcee’s family and friends. I met Darcee way back in the 80 ‘s when she worked at the Regency hotel . She had a heart of gold and always a big smile on her face. We kept in touch over the years as our families grew and our lives changed. I knew how much she loved her family. She will be missed.
