Kristopher David RHINE

Forever Loved

Kristopher David Rhine

January 19, 1983 – October 17 2026

The family of Kristopher Rhine is deeply saddened by his passing on October 17 2026. Kristopher passed away quietly with family surrounding him at University Hospital in Edmonton.

Kristopher leaves behind a mother Yvonne Jean, sister January Thorne (Micheal) and a nephew Roland. He also leaves treasured cousins Matt Jean and David Gala along with numerous other cousins. Many other aunts and uncles will also feel the loss as he was loved deeply by all. He was predeceased by his father David Wayne Rhine.

Born in Drayton Valley Kristopher lived his early year with a truly dare devil spirit often resulting in a trip to the local hospital and a stitch or two. He loved the outdoors and the adventures it brought. He loved camping with his cousins spending the time fishing and just being boys.

When he was 14 an accident changed his life and was then confined to a wheelchair. He had to reinvent his world. He spent a year in the Glenrose Hospital and would also make numerous trips to the Shriners Hospital in Sacramento for rehabilitation. He came back and resumed Jr. High and later went on to graduate at Frank Maddock High school. He then moved to the city where he lived independently until his death.

While living in the city his interest became computers and gaming online. He had a strong interest in AI and technology and what it could bring for the future. He had great faith that the AI technology would bring unending advancements towards the development of helpful aids for the disabled community. He thought himself a futurist.
