Michelle Shauna ROLINE
Michelle Roline, age 50, passed away October 8th 2022 in Edmonton, Alberta suddenly and unexpectedly.
She was born in Yellowknife then lived in many places throughout her childhood including the Cayman Islands and Miami before ending up in Edmonton, where she came to raise her family of two daughters. She really enjoyed living in Alberta exploring the outdoors, fascinated by wildlife and the beautiful mountains. She was always up for an adventure, especially if it meant experiencing other cultures festivities, food and practices. She had an open heart, treated everyone the same and welcomed all into her life with open arms.
She loved to share her positive energy, great sense of humour and wealth of knowledge with those around her. She always had a love for health and nutrition, making it important for her to research and always be reading new books. She always wanted to be a nurse. Getting in touch with nature and her spirituality, feeling grounded and healing through yoga and meditation we’re part of her daily life. She never wanted to be like anyone else and chose to walk the path less travelled if she could authentically remain herself.
If there was one thing everyone without a doubt would remember about Michelle, it would be that she was far from boring. She loved to sing and dance and felt very connected to music. She loved to dress in bright colors to express her eclectic style. Any excuse to get all dressed up with pretty hair and makeup was a good excuse.
She took pride in being a part of the Ironworkers 720 local for thirteen years and set out to not only be an example, but to be an inspiration to women everywhere that they could too, could be a part of such a great community.
Her best quality was her resilience. No matter what obstacles came her way, or what she was faced with she always remained strong and pushed through to the best of her ability. She never gave up.
She loved travelling, hiking, and going to shows with her partner Dominic with whom she loved very much.
Michelle is lovingly remembered by her daughters: Shante Renee and Shanelle Caputo, two grandsons, her mother Adelia Roline, sisters: Danielle, Laura, and Donna, brother Sam and her partner Dominic.
A public visitation will be held on Sunday, October 30 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Sending you love and strength. May your mother rest in beautiful peace.
