Stuart Ernest SCOTT

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved brother Stuart. Stuart is survived by his son and 3 grandchildren as well as his loving family and friends that will carry his memory forward.

Stuart faced his cancer with strength and courage. He continued to have a positive attitude by keeping his interests, projects and his plans close to his heart.

The most significant chapter of Stuart’s life was his 29 years of sobriety. His journey was a testament of the courage and strength it takes to make lasting change. Through that commitment he built a new life for himself “One Day at a Time”.

He will be remembered for his strong independence and the passion he had for things that brought him joy. His restoration of a 1949 Mercury truck kept him busy for many hours and he had hoped to see it finished. The hours he spent laying a stone driveway and ensuring each tile was perfectly placed and level. These projects reflected his patience, dedication, and attention to detail.

He was a great neighbour, always willing to help, dog lover, enjoyed both Rock & Roll and country music, and loved to play a good game of crib.

He will be deeply missed by his family and those who knew him. The memories we shared and the love we have for him will remain with us always.
