Mathieu Jerome SICOTTE

In Loving Memory of Mathieu Jerome Sicotte
September 3, 1987 – July 7, 2026
With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Mathieu Jerome Sicotte, who left us far too soon at the age of 38. Since 2018, Mathieu faced Myasthenia Gravis with unwavering strength, quiet resilience, and immense courage. Beneath his strong exterior was a gentle, generous soul and a true heart of gold. An avid sports lover, Mathieu approached life with passion and an enduring spirit that inspired everyone around him.
Mathieu was predeceased by his beloved father, Yves Sicotte; his sister, McAuley Gardiner; and his godmother, Carole Frechette. His memory will be forever cherished by his devoted mother, Penny Séguin; his sister, Mistee Gardiner; and his godfather, David Frechette. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and loyal friends who loved him dearly and will miss him every day.
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul.” — Psalm 23:1–3

Matt was such a nice man, even though I have not seem him in a while, the memories of knowing Matt will live on. Funny he messaged me about a week before he passed just to see how I was. I now wish I said hey lets meet for lunch. RIP Matt.
Rest in peace Mathieu.
