What words can one offer for such a loss? Athena was talented, beautiful, ambitious and kind, and her smile, her friendship and the laughter we shared will be fondly remembered. Such a beautiful person, gone far too soon. My deepest sympathy to her family.

I am so very sad to hear of the tragic news of Athena’s passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to her daughter and her family for all the heartache and pain they must have endured watching her fight her battle, and now this devastating loss. I enjoyed a number of memorable times with Athena at TELUS…Athena, you will not be forgotten.

George, Rosemarie and Jim. We were shocked and saddened to learn of Athena’s passing. It seems that it was only a few years ago my girls were playing with Athena in Athabasca. I can only imagine how devastating this is for you. Know that we love you all, and will keep you in our prayers. Sincerely, Phyllis Frick

Our hearts go out to Athena’s family in this most tragic of times. We always enjoyed her friendly conversations and warm caring attitude. Athena’s and Ibiza”s baked Christmas treats were some of the best! We will miss our neighbour and friend.
