Peacefully on May 6, 2025, Mr. George Skagos passed away at the age of 92 years.

George is lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years Rosemarie of Edmonton and granddaughter Ibiza Blackwell. He is survived by four brothers: Louis (Andriana) of Edmonton, Spiros of Edmonton, Tony (Helen) of Crete and Pericles of Toronto. George was predeceased by his daughter Athena Skagos, son Demetrios “Jim” Skagos. Brother Vassili Skagos and sister Soula Lekas.

Prayers will be said on Friday, May 9. 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at St. George’s Orthodox Church, 10831-124 Street NW, Edmonton where the Divine Liturgy will be said on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Gardens.
