On May 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, Karen Ann Smith of Edmonton passed away after a short illness at the age of 73 years.

Karen is lovingly remembered by her son Dion of Edmonton, AB, daughter Geitan (Danny) Hughes of Phoenix, AZ and four grandchildren: Brooke Hughes, Brodie Villeneuve, Teagan Villeneuve and Riley Villeneuve.
