Stanley Charles SPIERS

It is with profound love and sadness that we announce the passing of Stanley Spiers on May 6, 2026 at the age of (almost) 42.

Stanley was a passionate soul who loved being with people and brought immense joy to everyone around him. He cheered faithfully for the Calgary Flames, loved everything Superman, and never missed watching a WWE wrestling match. He was a loving father to 3 beautiful girls, and a devoted husband, friend, son and brother. He will always be remembered for his witty sense of humour and his ability to bring laughter to a room full of people.

Stanley will be lovingly remembered by his wife Loretta, his daughters Makenzie, Alivia and Ryley, his mother Jeannette, his brother Christopher (Barb) and his grandmother Irene, as well as numerous extended family members and treasured friends. Stanley was predeceased by his father Stanley, his brother Riley, and his grandfather Raymond.

Please join the family to celebrate Stanley’s life at Sherwood Park Alliance Church, 1011 Clover Bar Road, Sherwood Park on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 11 am.

As many of you know, Stanley fought a courageous battle with brain cancer. In lieu of flowers, the family would request any donations be made to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.

I was very saddened to hear about Stanley’s passing. Even in the short time I knew him, I could see how proud he was of his wife and his three girls.

I always hoped I would get a chance to talk more with him, but sadly that never happened. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. May he rest in peace. Saeed
